Floating Yoga Nidra @ Movement Lab
Dec 1 @ 6:00 pm – 6:45 pm

Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, is the deeply relaxed state where the practitioner is led into their own internal landscape in order to not only relax but to ease tension, anxiety, depression and any physical ailments that may be present. In the liminal space, where the consciousness is between waking and sleeping, healing can occur.

It is also said that 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to two hours of restful sleep.

In Floating Yoga Nidra, you will be cocooned in the AntiGravity® Harrison Hammock and led into deep relaxation.

There will also be sound healing from crystal singing bowls and the potential/option for journaling any realizations or releases, so please bring a journal if you choose to.

Dress warm and comfortable.

Bhakti Yoga (sub) @ Movement Lab
Dec 2 @ 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Bhakti is the Sanskrit word for “devotion.” Bhakti yoga is the yoga of devotion to a higher calling or to God. It is the practice of incorporating yoga into every aspect of your life and allowing a deeper purpose to guide you. When we practice Bhakti yoga on our mats we incorporate story, chanting, postures, and meditation.
All the elements come together with a specific theme intended to open you up to the possibility of growth and encourage you to elevate your life to the next level. We honor the tradition of Bhakti by learning how to devote not just the time on our mats but every minute of our day to a higher calling.
This is an all-levels class and will be made accessible for everyone who attends.
AntiGravity® Restorative & Gong Resonance Therapeutics @ Movement Lab
Dec 4 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Join Radha and David Martin for this blissful experience.

We will dim the lights, lower the hammocks closer to the ground and practice some deep and restorative moves for 90 minutes. This powerful practice floats the body through a series of gentle gyrokinetic motions, gently opening the entire spine, hips, and connective tissues of the body. This technique features various forms of flowing spinal traction with no inversions! It offers accessibility to students with physical limitations but is loved by all as a portal into deeper spinal flexibility, and mind/body connection. Some essential oils will be offered throughout the session too.

The Gong is one of man’s oldest therapeutic instruments and is used in yoga, sound meditation, and vibrational therapy from the distant past to the present day. A gong bath meditation is an ideal tool for stress reduction, stimulation of the glandular system, and serves as a facilitator to break up emotional, physiological and spiritual blockages. Sound & music are nutrients for the nervous system. The auditory mechanism is a mega-portal to the brain and sonic tools empower health, learning, and productivity. Due to its nature, the gong resonates all 30 trillion cells of the body simultaneously in a most powerful & effective way. The goal, in all healing, meditative, spiritual and transformational pursuits is to raise an individuals’ vibratory frequency and thereby changing a person’s nature of being, restoring the intrinsic state of balance. In a sound meditation session, the receiver lays down in savasana with their head pointed toward the gong and feet facing away.

All levels are welcome!
